n 1998, to celebrate the 115 Anniversary of the Canton of San Rafael de Heredia

, a national newspaper published a special supplement to our municipality, in which the journalist Seidy Pérez Morales outlined some of the ideas, comments and concerns of people rafaeleño, who expressed On that occasion the then Mayor of Canton, Mr. Mario Alberto Chaves Mata.
